Oracle at “Advanced Pharma Packaging” Congress, 26-27 February 2008, Berlin
Oracle will sponsor this event and participate with a presentation and also as an exhibitor. The focus of this congress for pharmaceutical companies is on the topic of packaging, which is answered in an excellent way by Oracle’s Agile Product Lifecycle Management. As an important means to transfer information between the product and the consumer, pharmaceutical packaging is subjected increasingly to regulatory requirements. Anti-counterfeiting measures have been added recently to the GMP guidelines. A decisive contribution to product security and quality will be provided by suppliers who are integrated very early the process chain. The role of companies is to define the control process in such a way that a Win-Win situation with packaging suppliers results. Approx. 60-70 managers from leading pharmaceutical companies will take part in the congress.
